6 months matured on fine lees in 2,500 l Swiss oak oval tanks
This Grand Cru, from vines on steep slopes with ideal southwest exposure, owes its name to the centuries-old drainage canals that run through the property. It spends 6 months on fine lees in Swiss oak vats of 2,500 l. The exceptional terroir of 1.3 ha (28% limestone) and the age of the vines (35 years) gives this Chasselas opulence and fruit notes, balanced by a good mineral tension. The delicate natural pearling adds a touch of freshness. It will charm you in its youth but several years in the cellar allow it to fully develop its full aromatic palette
